It is our pleasure to inform you that the 33rd Environmental Prize Neustadt was awarded to our customer Confiserie Michel. The sustainability concept of this unique handicraft business was honoured.
With the support of Open Europe Consulting, the management of Confiserie Michel has further developed its sustainability concept and documented and published it in the form of a declaration on the German Sustainability Code (DNK).
The Neustadt an der Weinstraße Environmental Prize is awarded for achievements that serve to secure, preserve and improve the natural foundations of life and the living environment. Organisations are called upon to participate in the competition if they are committed to environmental protection and nature conservation in Neustadt on a voluntary basis through concrete measures. The competition board is looking for concepts that contribute to the protection and preservation of the environment and its resources. Decisive for the award are not only the practical benefit for the environment but also the novelty, originality, creativity, sustainability and exemplary effect of the submitted contributions.
We warmly congratulate Confiserie Michel and are looking forward to further good and successful cooperation.
The topic of corporate responsibility has been having the big concern of Open Europe Consulting for many years. Since 1 January 2017, we have been working on behalf of the German Council for Sustainable Development (RNE) as a recognised DNK training partner and, of course, we ourselves are committed to sustainable business practices.
We would be delighted if we could inspire even more companies and organisations with the topic of "sustainability reporting" and its associated learning and management process. We are happy to support the management and employees by providing training and advice on the German Sustainability Code, which, as a recognised standard, also entirely fulfils all EU directives for non-financial reporting.
