30 videos tell stories of successful cooperation.
The project "The Bridge between Lithuania and Germany - 30th Anniversary of the Restoration of Diplomatic Relations" of the Lithuanian Kolping Association "Lietuvos Kolpingo Draugija" in cooperation with the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation presents 30 short videos. 15 Lithuanian and 15 German personalities active are telling about their experiences in German-Lithuanian cooperation: an interesting journey through the past from Lithuania's independence regained in 1991 until today.
The concrete experiences illustrate why maintaining diplomatic relations is important for the citizens of both countries and what social, economic and cultural benefits it generates. The focus is on the close cooperation of different organisations in both countries as well as on getting to know and exchanging one another’s cultures.
Andrea Mewaldt, owner of Open Europe Consulting, talks in her video about the time she lived in Kaunas from 1992 to 1997 and how this experience still shapes her consulting work for development in Central, Eastern and South Eastern Europe today. Please have a look.
